Nakul is an experienced 5G Network Systems Engineer at Qualcomm Technologies. With a decade of experience in the wireless industry, Nakul has had a front-row seat for the development of 5G, and his work has been showcased at multiple Mobile World Congress events around the world. While Nakul plays a key role in advancing 5G technology, he is also a teacher at heart. As a lead instructor for the Qualcomm Wireless Academy, he enjoys helping engineers and business professionals advance their careers by learning how to take advantage of the latest wireless technologies. Nakul has extensive experience teaching both overview and in-depth courses on topics such as 5G for Business, 5G Technical Training, Beamforming, Massive MIMO, mmWave, Multi-Access Edge Computing, 5G Private Networks, Industrial IoT, Device Log Analysis & Troubleshooting, and more.
Sesh has nearly two decades of experience in wireless communication and is currently an integral part of the Carrier Network Services (CNS) team of Qualcomm’s Corporate Engineering Services Group (ESG). His expertise is in the global deployment and optimization of 5G and other wireless networks. In fact, he has worked as a tech lead for many 5G NW optimization projects for key Operators across globe. Sesh is also an expert instructor for the Qualcomm Wireless Academy, developing and delivering 5G, LTE, LTE Adv, LTE Adv Pro, and VoLTE training to engineers worldwide. Prior to joining the CNS group, Sesh worked with the Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT) engineering team to commercialize various QCT Modems in C2K, UMTS, and LTE technologies. Sesh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication engineering from Nagarjuna University in India.
Dr. Yang has more than two decades of experience in the telecommunication industry and specializes in 3G/4G/5G system design, key feature bring-up, E2E performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting 3G/4G/5G networks. Since joining Qualcomm’s Engineering Services Group (ESG) in 2004, he has also worked on hundreds of projects worldwide with operators focusing on 3G/4G/5G E2E network performance, KPI/KQI optimization, and troubleshooting. Dr. Yang is also an experienced QWA instructor and has led numerous 3G/4G/5G development-related training courses and workshops, such as 5G NSA/SA air interface, call processing, 5G R16 Tech overview/air interface, dynamical spectrum sharing, NR CA/DC, and more. Dr. Yang received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology and a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the Beijing University of Post and Telecommunication.
Sam has more than two decades of experience in wireless communications and is currently part of the Carrier Network Services (CNS) team of Qualcomm’s Corporate Engineering Services (ESG) Group. His expertise is in the global deployment and optimization of 5G networks. One of Sam’s major accomplishments involved being the technical engineering lead that supported one of the earliest LTE commercial network launches for a major Japanese operator. Sam is also an expert instructor for the Qualcomm Wireless Academy, developing and delivering 5G, LTE, and VoLTE training to engineers worldwide. Sam holds an M.S.E.E. from the University of Central Florida and a B.S.E.E. from Alexandria University in Egypt.
Atanu has more than two decades of experience as a wireless engineer and leads the RF planning team within the Engineering Services Group (ESG) at Qualcomm. He specializes in link budgets, RF design, RF optimization, and capacity dimensioning of 5G NR, LTE/LTE-A, WCDMA/HSPA+, and CDMA2000 networks. He also has expertise in systems engineering for 5G and LTE/LTE-A technologies. Atanu received his M.S.E.E. in communications & signal processing from the University of Texas at Dallas.
