Getting Started with Windows on Snapdragon
Windows on Snapdragon is a development platform using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip that offers power efficiency, a native toolset, optimized CPU for Windows 11 on Snapdragon devices, always connected, heterogenous computing, and a dedicated Neural Processing Engine. This 2 hour, hands-on, developer-friendly course covers an introduction to Windows on Snapdragon, development on the platform, and using Qualcomm’s Dedicated Neural Processing Engine during development.

- Fundamentals of the Snapdragon Compute platform:
- Key features of Snapdragon processing
- Benefits of Windows on Snapdragon: always-on connectivity, power performance, and more
- Development tools including compilers, frameworks, libraries, and debugging tools
- Procedures for building Arm64 applications via:
- Visual Studio 2022
- Clang++ and GNU Make
- Clang++ and Cmake
- Hands-on intro the Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK:
- Development workflow for running the Qualcomm AI Engine on a Snapdragon device
- Quantization and data preparation during the AI workflow
- Setting up ONNX framework
- Setting up the Qualcomm AI environment using Arm64 Windows and X86_64 Ubuntu
Prerequisites:
- This course is geared toward software development and test engineers who are looking to develop, port, test, and optimize their applications for Windows on Snapdragon platform.
